Position Overview
EarthTea is a beverage technology start-up based in Assam, India. I travelled to the company's Tea Estate and resided there for two weeks, amongst a longer period of travelling to various countries. During the month I spent in India I worked full-time for EarthTea, and shifted to part-time in the months proceeding and following.

As the Engineering Project Manager of EarthTea, I was responsible for managing the technical side of the project, and commencing development towards a physical prototype.

My responsibilities included:

Interviewing, hiring, and managing a team of seven employees

Dividing the project into actionable objectives and delegating technical responsibilities to employees

Conducting goal setting, brainstorming, producing preliminary and detailed designs

Designing parts and assemblies on CAD (Onshape)

Head Technician

Position Overview
Effi is a micromobility start-up based in downtown Toronto. The company designs, assembles, tests, and performs maintenance on electric bikes, scooters, and mobility scooters. The Downtown location also serves as a full repair shop for all things E-mobility.
As the Head Technician of the company, my responsibilities included:
• Leading the technical development of a micromobility start-up
• Development of methodology for the assembly, testing, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of E-Bikes and E-Scooters
• Research and purchase of equipment for repairs and testing, management of inventory
• Performance of advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs for open-ended problems
• Soldering, wiring, controller programming, motor repair, battery testing, hydraulic oil change, brake & transmission tuning, flat tire repair
• Conducting customer intake, business modelling, in-person sales, marketing strategy, content creation

Position Overview
As a Systems Requirements Engineer on the Propulsion Mobility Management team, I was responsible for the development and delivery of specified requirements documents. My areas of focus were Power Moding and e-Mobility.

The Systems Requirements Organization receives inputs from various architecture, safety, and functional design teams, and produces requirements documents, diagrams, and other forms of support for the software, networking, and testing teams.

My responsibilities included:
Development and release of official requirements documents in IBM Doors and electrical logic diagrams in Microsoft Visio
Design of Power Moding system for new vehicles (BEVs, HEVs)
Design of predictive e-Mobility system to receive GPS, sensor, and meta data, process and organize it for downstream features
Provide and receive support, feedback, troubleshooting, and collaborative design with upstream controls and safety teams, and downstream software, interface, networking, and testing teams

Position Overview
As a Senior Undergraduate Research Assistant, my responsibilities entailed various mechanical engineering projects that would allow for further research to be conducted.
The three major projects that I completed are the following:
Design, purchase, assembly, and testing of a cooling system for a YASA motor
Research, assembly, and testing of a cooling system for a Tesla Motor
CAD & thermal modelling of an automotive Li-Ion battery pack


Mechanical Design Engineer
McMaster Automotive Resource Centre/Fiat Chrysler Automobiles

Position Overview
Research & development for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (Now Stellantis) is being conducted at the McMaster Automotive Resource Centre (MARC). As part of the FCA LEAP 2 Project, I was on the Power Electronics Team, responsible for the mechanical design of an automotive traction inverter. CAD modelling (SolidWorks) was extensively used in this role.

Camp Shomria is an overnight summer camp, focused on education & critical thinking

As the Program Director, my position entailed:

Hiring 40 staff members, planning and facilitating 4 hours of daily programming for over 100 campers

Planning full-camp sports days, special days, educational activities, writing plays to be performed by the counsellors
